During the 1st session, learners will discover what it means to live by a code. taking on the roles of a knight. They will write their own code, design and create a coat of arms, design and create an Apogee crest, design and build medieval castles and catapults, explore "surviving as a knight" and be introduced to archery & javelin.

During session 2, learners will discuss their visions, create dream boards, learn how to set and achieve goals, learn how to solve problems, explore conflict resolution and collaboration, create a club, learn time management skills and leadership development, discuss and create a studio budget.

During Session 3, learners will discover the importance of eating healthy by making healthy snacks, having discussions, and exploring food groups and functions. Learners will be introduced to the basics simple gardening and the importance of growing your own food, they will create their own physical activity game, discuss emotional intelligence, end the session by building a ninja warrior course.

Learners will explore civil rights, what civil disobedience means, and how to critically think when given the choice to make decisions on their own. They will build their own country complete with its own government, geographic features, and symbols. They will also get freedom to create their own board game!

Learners will engage in a community project of their choice to help make a positive impact . They will be challenged with how to build a solar oven, how to create a water filtration system, how to create a compass, basic woodworking, and plan a family camping trip.
Shark Tank

Learners will bring innovative ideas to life and present them to the families in a "Shark Tank Style" presentation. They will be challenged to create a product and brand around it, using the 4 C's: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication.
Fridays will be a mix of activities ranging from field trips, to workshops, to individual work time. Depending on where a learner is falling behind, they will have the option to have one-on-one time with a guide or work individually to catch up on unfinished work. As we develop the 2024/25 program we will update the website with a calendar outlining what Fridays will look like.
